Filippos Antonopoulos’ statement on OKTO’s growth in Latin America

News

“Over the past years, OKTO has grown from a bold idea into a global payments partner, trusted across markets. What’s driving this momentum is simple: the people who put their heart and energy into this journey.

Today, I felt it was the right moment to share how we’re strengthening our commercial team in LatAm, a region that pushes us, inspires us, and represents a major chapter in OKTO’s growth story. We’re bringing in great new people, trusting and elevating our own talent, and creating a structure that gives us the speed and focus our customers deserve.

We welcome André Boesing, who joins us as our General Manager for South LatAm. André brings real regional depth and operational clarity, and he’ll be leading our strategy and execution end-to-end across South LatAm.

Alongside, Mayra Scarpelli joins our team as Account Director for Brazil and LatAm, adding strong commercial experience and a sharp instinct for building long-term partnerships in one of our biggest markets.

We’re also recognizing the people who have grown with us and proven what leadership looks like inside OKTO. BRUNO GONCALVES takes on the role of Sales Director for LatAm, a step he has genuinely earned. His energy, ownership, and commitment have played a major part in our expansion in Brazil, and he’ll now steer our regional sales strategy with even greater impact.

Our partner ecosystem remains a fundamental part of our growth story. @Caroline Kane continues to lead the way as Account Director for our Global Merchants, deepening our relationships with key partners and unlocking new opportunities.

On the ground, Henrique Moreira steps forward as our local lead for Global Partners, ensuring we stay close to our customers and deliver with consistency, care, and speed.

What we’re building in LatAm is more than a structure, it’s a team that reflects the ambition of the markets we serve. More clarity. More speed. More proximity to our customers and partners, both local and global. And this is just the beginning.”
