Digital transformation and Smart Islands were the focus of the Nisyros Dialogues, held for the third year by the “George M. Michalos Foundation” and under the auspices of H.E. The President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and His All Holiness The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Mr. Constantinos Antonopoulos, President & CEO of INSPIRING EARTH was a guest speaker and he elaborated on the ways islands could become points of attraction for digital nomads. As he characteristically stated: “Technology is the cheapest investment compared to other infrastructure”, while he focused on health and education services, both for nomads and pensioners of central Europe who could come to live on our islands. He also stressed the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises utilization.
